    Rhayader hosts a variety of events all year round, ranging from Carnival week, Round the lakes races, cycling events, arts exhibitions and many more.

    Are you a charitable organisation who wants to promote an event in Rhayader and District? Are you a registered Rhayader 2000 member who has an event happening?

    Rhayader Walkers Sunday Walks

    Walk from Radnorshire Wildlife Trust Pen-twyn farm via source of Lugg (7.5 miles)

    People joining walks do so at their own risk, with no responsibility being attached to any other individual or the group as a whole.

    It is suggested that walkers carry food and drink and wear footwear and clothing appropriate to the terrain and the season. Leaders reserve the right to exclude walkers they do not judge capable of safely completing the walk from joining the group for whatever reason. For all walks, except where stated differently, please meet at the Leisure Centre Car Park at least 5 minutes before the starting time.

    Dogs must be kept under close control at all times. Routes alter if weather conditions are inclement or for any other reason at the leader’s discretion. For queries concerning individual walks, please contact the walk leader.

    Thursday 10 – Sunday 28 April Explore Cnwch Woods and complete the scavenging quest to claim your prize! The trail should take about 40 minutes so make sure you get back in time to receive your gift. The trail follows the Blue Route Walk and is wheelchair and pushchair friendly. £3.00 per child
