The Lost ARC is delighted to welcome a trio of North American artists from Rowboat Music (home of another Lost ARC favourite, Fellow Pynins).

Sam Weber is an LA based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist drawing upon the tradition of the great American songsmiths. There’s an emotional, raw simplicity to Sam which, alongside his exceptional musicianship and deeply passionate voice, carries his timeless, clever songs. Not only a prolific song-writer, Sam is also a guitar virtuoso, being one of the youngest musicians to be featured in Guitar Player Magazine.

Sam has toured North America as a headliner since 2013 and has opened for acts such as The Tragically Hip, Said the Whale, and Stars.

Humbird (Siri Undlin) is a Minneapolis based singer-songwriter, poet, and storyteller inspired by the crystalline chill of her home state’s northern winters. Undlin twines experimental folk, environmental Americana, and orchestral compositions to forge an explorative embodiment of the narrative folk song and balladry tradition.

Released in September 2019, her debut full length album, Pharmakon -engineered by Brian Joseph (Bon Iver, Sufjan Stevens) and produced by Shane Leonard (Field Report)- has been received with remarkable critical acclaim and has amassed nearly 20 million streams since its release.

A Humbird live performance is intimate and earthy, literal and metaphorical.

Luke Callen is an American troubadour, born and bred in the Mississippi river town of La Crosse, Wisconsin in the heart of the “Driftless” region. A balladeer drinking from the same well as highway poets Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger, and Lead Belly.

Callen’s songs – equal parts tragic comedy and hopeless reverie – paint the very picture of the life of the singer himself; strewn with oddly characters and strange, quirky American towns he’s grown to love and hate over years of touring deep USA unearthing tall tales and short tunes.

He has had the opportunity to share the stage with Dom Flemons, Dead Horses, The Dustbowl Revival, Kacy & Clayton, James McMurtry, Whiskey Shivers, Charlie Parr, and Robbie Fulks among others.
