The Dragon Trail follows the historic railway line linking the town to the Elan Valley, offering a scenic route to explore on foot, by bike or on horseback.

As well as trail information, this page will also help you discover more about Rhayader and Cwmdauddwr, from independent shops and historic landmarks to parks, activities and places to eat. You’ll also find information about the Elan Valley, its spectacular dams and reservoirs, and why this area is known as the Outdoors Capital of Wales.
