Splice by Ekleido - a mesmerising club-inspired dance experience
- Join creative duo Ekleido for a mesmerising dance experience featuring original music by world-renowned electronic musician Floating Points. Opening the programme is Ekleido’s critically acclaimed Splice in which two dancers find the balance between limitation and possibility to solve a physical puzzle. Completing the evening is Rorschach, a trio that reimagines the iconic Rorschach inkblot test. In this work, we encounter a future society where individuals are subjected to a mandatory Rorschach trial—a journey of self-revelation and survival where participants confront psychological endurance, moral compass, and physical limitations. The movement language blends vocabularies combining contemporary dance and street dance including New Way Voguing, Threading and Bonebreaking.
