Celebrated local Botanist and Mycologist Ray Woods joins us again to share his life’s work of exploring, protecting, sharing and celebrating fungi. He is a former Cardiff University Professor, Contributor to many national and international publications, Environmental Consultant for several government projects and NGOs as well as a treasured contributor to the third sector. He will be exploring themes of the mushroom in popular culture and everyday life, as well as the impact they have on the entire planet’s delicately balanced environment and and all of the living species it contains.

Suitable for ages 12 & up.

The drawing session is led by talented local artist Sorell Matei who is warm, supportive and will help you create something you love.

We will do a few warm-up exercises before diving into a longer session, so you can experiment around. No previous knowledge necessary! You will surprise yourself by the end of the day. You will be supported as you create something wonderful to take home.
