    The choir perform an annual event at Rhayader Leisure Centre; North Street Rhayader LD6 5BU. This year is no exception and will include two amazing soloists:

    Carys Hâf is a singer from Carmarthenshire and sings a variety of genres from folk songs, classical and musicals. Graduating in performing from the University of Wales Trinity St David’s in 2017, Carys works in the arts world at Theatr Felinfach.

    In 2015 Carys was part of the ensemble in the musical Mimosa with the Urdd and Theatr Clwyd which toured Wales and Patagonia. Carys was also one of the main singers for six years in Theatr Felinfach’s annual Welsh Christmas Panto.She had success in the Folk Singing competition at the Ŵyl Gerdd Dant, Llanelli in 2019 and in the Lady Hebert Lewis Memorial Competition at the National Eisteddfod of Wales at Tregaron in 2022.

    Part of the singing group Harmoni you can see Carys singing in a variety of concerts and recently the singing group was on the S4C programme Dechrau Canu Dechrau Canmol.

    Eirian Davies

    Eirian lives in the small rural village of Llangadog with his wife Elin and three children Iwan, Gruffudd and Alaw. After graduating with honours from the University of Wales Aberystwyth in Biology in 2002, Eirian went on to follow a PGCE course for secondary schools. He is currently the Headteacher at Ysgol Bro

    Dinefivr in Llandeilo. Over the years he has collected many prizes on both a local and national level. Along with this he has been invited to perform on 2 consecutive occasions, at the

    Urdd Gobaith Cymru's Bryn Terfel Scholarship. His concert work has been varied and diverse throughout Wales and England. His singing to date has taken him to Guernsey, Jersey, Ireland, Holland, the East Coast of

    Canada, and America. Some of the works that he has performed include the welsh opera Blodwen (Dr Joseph Parry), Requiem Mass (Fauré), Mass in D minor, (Dvorák), Messiah (Handel),

    Nelson Mass (Haydn), Mass in C (Haydn). Mass in C
