Join our Rangers at one of our Dam Open Days during the Summer Holidays - an exclusive chance to venture into Pen y Garreg Dam and up to the central tower. You’ll enjoy a bird's-eye view of the dam wall – and learn about the feat of engineering that made Elan.

Sessions are available throughout the summer holidays.

Tickets must be bought in advance, there will be no option to buy tickets on the door. Please print or download your confirmation/ticket beforehand as there is no signal at the dam and you will be required to show evidence of booking.

Entry is £5 for adults and £1 for those aged 16 and under with half of all proceeds going to our chosen charity WaterAid.

Due to Covid-19 social distancing regulations, numbers inside the dam have to be restricted, queuing may be expected so please be patient with us. You may be asked to wait before entering the dam and we may need to limit your time inside the structure. Hand sanitiser will be available at the entrance to the dam.

Please be aware that there are steps to get to the dam which can be steep or muddy. Inside the dam there are areas which have low light levels, narrow corridors and steps which can be wet. Children should be carefully supervised at all times. Dogs are welcome on short leads.
